Mesa Farm

Wellington Community and Matheson Apartments had the privilege of participating at the Mesa Farm in Rutland owned and run by Dale Perkins and Ann Tripp. MassHousing approved a grant to pay for 10 kids to participate. However Dale Perkins and Ann Tripp were willing and offered to take on 6 additional kids at no cost. You will see in the pictures below some of our kids learning to ride horses, making ice cream from scratch, learning about sheep, and most of all learning how to work as a team supporting one another. Please feel free to post positive comments about our kids!

Dale has 12 horses

he also has many chicken and among the chickens a few roosters
